The AVP-11 UniDrive system delivers HDTV signals from one source to a single remote location up to 1,000 feet  away. Unlike a passive balun system, the UniDrive utilizes Active Gain Equalization (AGE) circuitry which dramatically extends range and signal integrity. The UniDrive has a 3-conductor bidirectional pathway for infrared control signals in addition to HDTV audio and video signals.

The AVP-11 system includes one Model 9880T CAT5 Transmitter, and one Model 9880 CAT5 Receiver. The cable length compensation adjustment on the receiver allows the installer to fine tune image quality over long Cat 5 runs.

Only the transmitter requires a power supply; the receiver is powered over the Cat 5 bus.
