| Before the OnAir Sasem, there was no easy solution to transform a PC into a High Definition Television. Introduced in 2003, this was the world’s first USB 2.0 HDTV tuner. This HDTV receiver incorporates a Philips ATSC/NTSC/QAM (unencrypted) tuner to receive and display broadcasts from over-the-air or cable signals.
The OnAir Sasem from AutumnWave is an affordable alternative to purchasing an expensive HDTV. With the included DVR software, it is easy to timeshift, capture, schedule, and playback Digital and Analog TV on your computer.
OnAir Solution's OnAirUSB-HDTV is packed with features in a simple plug-n-play external device. No need to configure IRQs, DMA, ACPI! Simply install the software, plug the OnAir into a USB2.0 port and enjoy! Supports timeshifting and recording of: HDTV, SDTV, analog cable TV, over-the-air broadcast HDTV and analog TV, and QAM digital cable (unencrypted). HDTV is recorded at full resolution of the broadcast! Easy to use software and included IR remote control for ultimate PC and TV convergence!
Detailed PC requirements: Windows XP SP1; Microsoft DirectX 9.0; available USB 2.0 port; Desktop: DXVA based video card with reference drivers (ATI RAdeon 7200 w/32mb or Nvidia MX440 w/32mb); Notebook: ATI Mobility Radeon 7500 w/32mb or Nvidia Go-4 w/32mb; Intel P-III or AMD Athlon XP; 128mb (256mb recommended); CD-ROM drive and sufficient hard drive space for software installation. Recording HD material requirements are 9GiB (GigaBytes!) per hour.
Non-DXVA PCs We do not recommend using non-DxVA garphics cards with the OnAir USB HDTV. Doing so may cause abnormal system operation, dropped video frames, and system crashes. Features of this product will be severly limited or not available when using non-DxVGA graphics cards. |
