The Intelix AVO-SVA2-WP-F balun is an ideal solution for transmitting s-video and ultra-high quality stereo audio up to 1,000 feet over structured cabling, such as Cat 5. Used in pairs or with the rack-mountable Intelix AVO-SVA2-F balun, AVO-SVA2-WP-F wallplate baluns replace bulky coaxial cable and utilize a building's existing structured cabling network. The AVO-SVA2-WP-F features female connectors on a standard decora plate.
Example System 1: An Intelix AVO-SVA2-WP-F wallplate balun and an Intelix AVO-SVA2-F rack-mountable balun connect a DVD player to a remote plasma and an audio receiver. Audio and video from the DVD player is balanced by the source balun, transmitted over the Cat 5 cabling, and then unbalanced by the receive balun. The audio from the DVD player is sent to the audio receiver and the video is sent to the plasma.
