HD Matrix Signal Distribution
The AVAtrix Model AVM-562E is an HD matrix switch that delivers component video, digital and stereo audio signals for home theater systems and distributed video systems. Any of each six sources can be routed to multiple remote wallplates or to the main local output at any time. Each of the AVM-562E’s individual outputs is connected remotely to a wallplate/receiver unit that provides a simple connection point for component video, digital audio, and stereo analog audio. With Audio Authority’s innovative balanced line architecture, along with their Active Gain Equalization (AGE) technology, the signal can be transmitted up to 1,000 feet while preserving HD signal clarity and vibrancy.

Cat 5 Wallplate Receivers
Audio and video signals are carried on two Cat 5 cables to each wallplate/receiver.  There are three different wallplate/receivers to accommodate your individual design and application. The wallplates are d over Cat 5 – no power connection required at the zone. A return pathway for IR signals is included in the Cat 5 cable run. This pathway allows the AVAtrix to be remotely controlled via IR, and it also delivers discrete IR control signals to the sources.

Custom Options
The Model AVM-562E design means virtually no setup or assembly required for typical installations. The system is packed with a rich feature-set and options for complex installations as well. The AVM-562E system includes an IR remote control, and can be controlled additionally with RS-232 control codes as well as several universal remote control companies.  Each source input can be custom labeled for display on the illuminated fluorescent display. Firmware upgrades via flash memory cards  provides a way for custom installers to quickly perform setup tasks using a PC for configuration prior to going on-site.
