Wallplate receiver for AVX661/561, 9870 series CAT5 component video and audio distribution.

Provides TV connection point for component video, coaxial digital audio, left/right analog audio, and an IR receiver input. Both front and rear facing IR jacks. The 9879 Wallplate can be used with the Audio Authority AVAtrix, SixDrive, or DuoDrive. 

When connected to a compatible Audio Authority driver, the 9879 provides pristine component video, digital coaxial audio, analog L/R audio, plus front and rear IR jacks.

The wallplate is easy to install in a standard single-gang electrical box. Each durable wallplate offers component video, digital audio and analog audio jacks The IR jack provides a convenient pathway for a third party IR remote distribution network over the Cat 5 pathway. It includes all the features of the dual gang 9878 wallplate, except for the F-connector passthrough, but in a more attractive, compact design. Each 9879 includes three insert colors: almond, bone, and white. IR receiver and emitter equipment not included.

** Caution ** Always correctly pair and terminate Cat 5 cables, and test pairing and continuity before connecting power to the driver and Wallplate. Incorrect cable termination, or plugging a cable into the wrong port can result in Wallplate damage.
