Distribute HDTV to multiple rooms over Cat 5 cable with
our Model 1171 Cat 5 HD signal distribution system. Each 1171 serves
six remote locations. Rack mountable and expandable in increments of
six. Resolutions up to 1080p.

Cat 5 Receivers are sold separately, and are required for operation (select from Models 9878, 9879, and 9880).
Model 1171 incorporates the key
signal paths necessary for premium audio and video entertainment, plus
an IR pathway for easy remote control of AV components. All this over
just two inexpensive, easy to install Cat 5 cables. The Model 1171 Cat
5 MultiDriver distributes HDTV signals up to 1,000 feet from the source.

Cat 5 Wallplate/Receiver Options
Choose from three different receiver styles: a single-gang Decora wallplate, a dual-gang stainless steel wallplate, and a breakout box. Wallplates
are easy to install in a standard electrical box, while the breakout
box can be mounted on any flat surface. Two Cat 5 cables deliver
component video, digital audio and analog audio to each receiver. The
3.5mm IR jack provides a convenient pathway for a third party IR remote
distribution network over the Cat 5 pathway. Use compatible IR
receivers and emitters (see 1171 manual). IR receiver and emitter
equipment not included.

Reliable and Expandable
Our
unique cable length compensation allows adjustment for the optimal
signal strength at any distance up to 1,000 feet from the source. Like
our commercial video distribution products, the 1171 provides reliable
ground isolation, preventing hum bars and other artifacts associated
with ground loops.
It's easy to expand a 1171 System to any
size. Simply stack 1170 Expanders with the 1171 MultiDriver and connect
additional Wallplates. Up to 48 Wallplates may be served in this way.

the 1171 is ideal for new construction or an existing home, it does
require special knowledge and tools to install. We suggest you contact
a local custom home installation specialist. Many installation
