The ATSC-100 Digital Terrestrial HDTV Receiver provides an inexpensive yet high quality way to view local, off-air HDTV transmissions either on a device capable of displaying YPbPr component HDTV signals or on a standard definition, analog television via its Composite Video (CV) input. Stereo audio outputs are available and comprehensive On Screen Displays allow the user to control the unit as well as view the Electronic Program Guide (EPG).
Multiple profiles can be created and stored so that the image will be best for the type of programming viewed and closed captioning is fully supported as well as V-Chip parental content control.
Automatic channel scan is standard and individual channels can also be added manually. Audio levels are fully adjustable and a Favorite Channel list can be constructed so that it isn't necessary to scan through channels that are of no interest to the viewer.
Displayed aspect ratios may be either 4:3 or 16:9 and the unit can be controlled via panel mounted switches as well as Infrared remote control. A transmitted resolution display is provided so that the viewer can instantly determine when High Definition programming is being provided by the broadcaster. Output resolution can be set to 480p, 720p or 1080i in the YPbPr mode as needed for the type of display being used. |
